Cervix moderately dilated
Cervix moderately dilated is the normal condition during labor in which a woman's cervix has become moderately dilated. The cervix begins as a closed (not dilated) cervix. Then, as the contractions squeeze the baby against the cervix, the cervix begins to dilate (dilated a bit). Later, after more contractions, the cervix becomes moderately dilated (the opening of the cervix is moderate big). Finally, the cervix is fully dilated, and the baby can start going through the cervix into the vagina.
