Male contraception (birth control) is the methods a man can use to avoid getting a woman pregnant, and thus avoid or delay having children. Birth control is family planning, and includes abstinence (not having sex), condoms, hormonal therapy (birth control pills), IUD's (intrauterine devices), etc... Permanent birth control is sterilization, such as vasectomy.
