A night seizure is a condition in which a person has a convulsion (seizure) during the night. Seizures can happen day or night, and are due to abnormal electrical activity in the brain, causing changes in behavior such as rhythmic movements or confusion. Children's night terrors are not seizures but are sleep disturbances that include anxiety, panic, screaming, etc...
