Tramadol withdrawal
Tramadol is a non-opioid medication that works at opiate receptors to achieve similar effects. Discontinuation after prolonged use of tramadol may cause withdrawal symptoms similar to opiate withdraw symptoms. Withdrawal is very uncomfortable but not life threatening. Symptoms of withdrawal include dilated pupils, goose bumps, insomnia, agitation, sweating, muscle aches, increased tearing, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
