Enoxaparin
Enoxaparin is a blood thinner that is injected twice a day and has an excellent safety profile. It should be discontinued 24 hours prior to delivery if possible to decrease bleeding. Epidural anesthesia may not be able to be given to women on blood thinners such as enoxaparain.
