Interferon alpha
Interferon is produced by the body to fight viruses. Taking man-made interferons may help stimulate your immune system against the hepatitis B and C viruses. Examples of interferon medications include Roferon-A, Intron-A, Rebetron, Alferon-N, and Peg-Intron. These drugs do not work for everyone who takes them.
